Tribute for Kenneth, Sean, Ina, and Alex

I have my own particular sorrows, loves, delights; and you have yours. But sorrow, gladness, yearning, hope, love, belong to all of us, in all times and in all places. Music is the only means whereby we feel these emotions in their universality.
~H.A. Overstreet
Some of my favorite musicians came together to make the songs I am posting today.
I could do a post on each one individually because I enjoy their music and talent.
I posted very brief information on the performers at the end of the post.
Some of my dear friends in blogland have suffered the loss of a loved one.
Monty for the loss of her Uncle Kenneth
SophMom for the loss of Sean
Teresa for the loss of her grandmother
Hula for the loss of Alex
Please take the time to watch and listen to the music.
Turn up the volume because all of these tracks are very clear.

That's sad, but the music was A+. ;)
I like to beleive there is no loss but becons of light leading the way down the road to where we all go when its time to travel to the next stage of our existance and what's a road trip without music.

Music truly does soothe the soul. I know it did for me when my mom passed away ... and still does as I think of her so very often.
You're a good friend, Raggedy. Your gentle, loving nature shows through once more.
((hugs))
Thank you, sweetie. The Vince song was played at my grandmothers funeral. I will never be able to listen to it again with out crying.
I love the song with Vince Gill. I heard it was for his brother?
Thank you for your support, Raggedy...I think Joshua's Guardian Angel is stepping in. :)
This is just fantastic, Rags. And I can see that it took a long time to put this together, so thanks much for that.

The songs are beautiful, I love country music, but I don't know any of the singers, they probably never made it to Europe.
Thanks for sharing the music. It was great.
Dear Raggedy. my deepest sympathy
to your friends and beautifull music. Its very hard to loose a loved one as I have been through it. ((HUGS))
Awww, Raggedy, thanks so much. I'm still rather a mess about it all. I was in the doctor's office for a routine visit yesterday and went to pieces just saying what had happened. I'll have to save listening to the music until I'm home tonight. Thanks again. Hugs to you too.
Thank you so much! *hug*
You're so sweet to take the time to do this for us, and to celebrate the lives of those we've lost.
Love & hugs to you!

Sorry to hear about your friends' losses Raggedy.
Time doesn't heal the pain of losing a loved one, but it sure helps lessen it when friends like you to bring together loving tributes like this one :-)
Keep up the good work, Raggedy.
I loved the music. Very touching stuff by some of my favorite performers. Thanks!!
One word.....AWESOME!
hugs
You did good on this one. Alison Krauss is high on my list. Thanks.
I hope you are alright, this was a Saturday/Sunday post.
..
Phone Police, just passing through "wink"
You have earned your nickname "the cool one" because this is a very cool list that obviously took a lot of effort! Bravo!
Hi Raggedy ~~ Sorry I have been busy with the visit of my brother Peter
We had a great few days and he should be halfway home to Gympie tonight.
It is so far away and our families are scattered all over the country.
Hope you are well and happy. Take care, Love, Merle.
