Eyal Golan

#3

Eyal Golan
From Wikipedia
Eyal Golan, אייל גולן (born April 12, 1971), is one of Israel's most energetic and popular singers. He is known as "The Melekh" or King due to his voice and good looks. He is known for his festive Eastern Mizrahi style and catchy tunes and lyrics.

A friend sent me this picture and a little more information about Eyal.

Eyal is married to Ilanit Levi, who was the beauty pageant Queen of Israel in 2001. Together they have a son called Liam.

In the words below each video, I chose my favorite lyric poetry that I found within each song.

Eyal Golan - MITGA'AGE'A (Yearning)

I'm yearning
and I don't get where my heart is going
and I hover
I'm longing, it's not passing
you'll yet see I'll go cry because of you.

Mitga'age'a
velo mevin le'an halev sheli nose'a
umerachef
mitga'age'a zeh lo cholef
od tir'i she'eshtage'a biglalech.

Eyal Golan-MALKAT HAYOFI SHELI (My Beauty Queen)
This is a music video. It is very funny. In the end Eyal shows up to help the man in the video…

If you'll wait, I promise
I'll find the key to your heart
I'll pick a star from the sky
and tie it to your window.

Im techaki, ani mavti'ach
emtza mafte'ach lelibech
ektof kochav maharaki'a
ekshor oto lechalonech.

Eyal Golan -LIKNOT LACH YAHALOM (Buying you a Diamond)

I'm travelling but thinking of her,
the memories in the suitcase,
I'm not running away
and I know she's not staying alone.

If there's no bread, there's no love
I'm travelling to fix and set the future
how much time can be without work
the time doesn't help me.

I just have a dream to buy you a diamond
to see you once again smiling
Inside me is love, stay near
I know that you only love me
and I you.

Ani nosea aval choshev ale'a
hazich'ronot bamiz'vada
ani lo boreach va'ani yode'a
hi lo nisheret avooda

Im en leh'em en ahava
ani nosea lesader lanua atid
kama zman efshar lih'iot bli avoda
zman lo ozer li

Yesh li rak h'alom liknot lah' yahalom
lirot otah' od paam meh'ayeh'et
yesh bi ahava hishari krova
yodea she oti at rak ohevet
vegam ani ohev

Hebrew Songs
A great big Thank You!

One for the road:
This Video with Avihu Medina shows how powerful his voice is. You can tell he had a lot of fun performing with him.

Hi Raggedy ~~ Fine young singer, thanks
for letting us meet him. Nice song lyrics also. Thanks for your visits and
comments. Glad you enjoy them, not sure there will be one tonight as my line keeps dropping out - maybe the excessive heat? Or the power going off yesterday?
Trying to get a few replies. I am glad you have oil heating to keep you warm.
Take care, dear friend, Love, Merle.

The words are lovely. I can't hear sound right now. I always forget to have my son check why for me. I think it's cause we have different passwords and stuff and mine isn't hooked up. But reading the words? They were lovely.
